Fertility Awareness ("Wise Fam," "we," "our," or "us") is operated by Taganski Biotech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and web app at app.fertilityawareness.app.

We take your privacy extremely seriously — especially because fertility and cycle data is among the most intimate information you can generate. This policy is written in plain language, not legalese.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (required for account creation and authentication)
• Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing — we never see your plain-text password)

Health & Fertility Data

When you use the app to track your cycle, you may choose to log:

• Basal body temperature (BBT) readings
• Menstrual cycle dates, flow intensity, and spotting
• Cervical mucus observations (type, sensation, color)
• Cervical position and firmness
• OPK (ovulation predictor kit) and pregnancy test results
• Sexual activity logs
• Symptoms (mood, energy, cramps, headaches, etc.) with severity levels
• Temperature reliability flags (travel, illness, alcohol, disrupted sleep)

All health data logging is optional. You choose what to track.

Technical Data

We automatically collect minimal technical data to keep the app running:

• Device type and operating system (for compatibility)
• App version
• Crash reports and error logs (for bug fixes)
• General usage patterns (which features are used, not what data is entered)

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide the fertility tracking service — charting, cycle analysis, and predictions
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Sync your data between devices (when you enable cloud sync)
• Power AI coaching features (only if you subscribe to this optional paid feature)
• Send essential account communications (password resets, security alerts)
• Fix bugs and improve app performance using aggregated, anonymized diagnostics

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a trusted infrastructure provider with enterprise-grade security. All data is:

• Encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• Encrypted at rest on Supabase servers
• Protected by Row Level Security (RLS) — meaning your data is only accessible to you
• Stored on servers located in the United States

Your app also stores data locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage/IndexedDB) so the app works offline. This data never leaves your device unless you enable cloud sync.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with any third parties except:

• Supabase — our backend infrastructure provider, which processes data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves the app and processes web requests
• Payment processors — if you subscribe to AI coaching, your payment is processed by standard payment providers. We never see or store your credit card number.

None of these providers use your data for their own purposes. They process it strictly to provide the service.

6. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access — You can export all your cycle data at any time (CSV or PDF) directly from the app
• Correction — You can edit or update any data you've entered
• Deletion — You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via our account deletion page
• Portability — Your exported data is in standard formats you can use elsewhere
• Withdraw consent — You can stop using the app and request deletion at any time with no penalty

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

7. Children's Privacy

Wise Fam is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use:

• Advertising cookies
• Third-party tracking pixels
• Analytics cookies from Google Analytics or similar services
• Social media tracking scripts

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you via the app or email before the changes take effect. We will never reduce your privacy protections without clear, advance notice.
